Mrs. Ebelechukwu, the wife of Willie Obiano, the former governor of Anambra State, has spoken up about her feud with Bianca Ojukwu.
Bianca Ojukwu smacked Ebelechukwu during Charles Soludo’s inauguration as Governor of Anambra State last week.
However, the former First Lady said that she had left her seat to greet Bianca, who had responded with a slap.
According to her spokesman, Chidiebele Obika, the former governor’s wife approached the former beauty queen for their customary jovial banter only to be slapped and shoved by her
She wondered what had caused “such much fury and hatred” in a former ambassador that she couldn’t “control herself in public.”
Mrs. Obiano claimed that she didn’t bother returning the smack and instead walked away, perplexed.
On her part, the wife of Late Chief Emeka Ojukwu, the APGA’s immortal leader, Mrs. Ojukwu congratulated Charles Soludo on his inauguration as governor of Anambra State.
In a Facebook post, Bianca called the inauguration a “freedom day for Anambra State.”
Her retaliation comes after she got into an altercation with Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obiano, the wife of the outgoing governor of Anambra State.
Mrs. Obiano had apparently approached Mrs. Ojukwuin the first row of the celebration, where she was seated next to the outgoing governor, Chief Willie Obiano, as many had predicted Mrs. Ojukwu allegedly slapped her in the face after she allegedly abused her while she (Mrs. Obiano) gripped and drew Ojukwu’s hair before security operatives separated the two women.
Bianca, on the other hand, wrote shortly after the party.
“Today is Liberation Day, and the Redemption Song is being sung.
Anambra is going to be better!”
“Now I know exactly how those Israelites felt when they took those first timid steps out of Egypt…
The sheer joy of release, the long-awaited return to the promised land, must have kept them awake all night.
This is the Day the Lord has Made…a day that underlines the age-old reality that no one can hold the stage for the rest of their lives.
I give thanks to God for keeping us all alive to see this day.
She went on to say that a more vibrant and progressive Anambra can be achieved.
“All glory and honor belong to Him.”
It’s taken a long time, but it’s finally here.
“Indeed…WE ARE THE BARRACKS!” she exclaimed.
Ebele Obiano and Bianca Ojukwu are expected to be arrested, according to Femi Falana, a legal luminary.
Bianca Ojukwu, the wife of former Anambra Governor Willie Obiano and former Ambassador to Spain, fought on Thursday.
Falana stated that if the two were not renowned persons, the police would have taken them into arrest.
The two women, according to the Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), committed a crime.
“Affray is a crime that occurs when two or more persons fight in public.
Section 83 of the Criminal Code makes it illegal.
“The fact that the two VIPs were not detained confirms that Nigeria has two sets of laws, one for the rich and one for the poor,” says the report.
“They would have been arrested, jailed, and charged” for disrupting the ceremony, Falana stated if Ebele and Bianca were commoners.
