1,794, 52 Nigerians have been vaccinated against coronavirus with their first jab of the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.
The National Primary Health Care Development Agency made this known on its official Twitter handle Saturday.
Lagos, Federal Capital Territory and Kano have vaccinated the highest number of people.
The agency said that three states, Kwara, Ekiti and Cross River have reached one hundred percent of their target population.
It made it clear that the second dose of Oxford AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines had begun, urging Nigerians, who had received their vaccination cards to know when they were due for their second jab.
This it said would ensure that every Nigerian who receives the present vaccine, receives their second dose between six and 12 weeks”
Nigeria has more than two million doses of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine reserved for the second dose .
