No matter how hard you try, you can’t make a good thing worse by calling it a bad through a campaign of calumny
Calumny is the act of spreading false information about someone with the intent to injure them. It’s a powerful weapon that can silence your enemies and destroy their credibility, but it’s also very dangerous. Calumny works best when it’s specific and believable, but you have to be careful not to go too far or too fast in your attacks because people will see right through them!
The unfair campaign of calumny on Senator Godwill Obot Akpabio, which aims at spreading false information on the internet and social media, is condemned by all and sundry..
It pains me to read many things on social media, especially from Akwa Ibom people who think they can stop the uncommon giver, Senator Akpabio from becoming the 10th Senate President.

Let’s face it – everyone makes mistakes. It doesn’t matter who you are, or how powerful you think you are. Everyone has flaws that they’re willing to admit.
At some point, you’ll do or say something stupid, and then there will always be someone out there willing to point out your mistake so you can learn from it.
This campaign against Senator Akpabio will not work for a number of reasons. It’s also not effective to just send out one message and tap out.
The key is to find out what people are interested in, what things they want to hear about the man Akpabio, and how he (Akpabio) can address the concerns of the people
Why campaign of calumny against Sen. Godswill Obot Akpabio is not working
Your argument must be believable. You have to be able to explain your position and back it up with evidence, or at least a plausible explanation for why you believe what you do or say.
You also need to make sure that when people read your post, they can see how it makes sense from their own perspectives and experience. If the person on their Facebook feed has been following along with the same conversations as them since day one, then that’s good enough for now!
They won’t have any doubt about where he stands anymore than if he had taken a poll of other friends who were also talking about this issue online (and not necessarily agreeing with each other). Akpabio stands out among all the senators and he is loved by all men, the job fits him. Akapbio does not know me one-on-one but I think if we have at least four of Sen, Godswill Akapbio in Akwa Ibom, the state will be placed in the hearts of Nigerians.
We were known for house boys and grills, it was Akpabio who changed the narrative in his years as governor of the state

But when someone comes along with something completely different than what everyone else was saying—or even worse yet when they’re outright lying—then there are two options: either ignore him completely or call out his lies right away so our readers know how crazy this guy really is!
When you make a false allegation, you need to be able to prove that the allegation is true.
With all that they are saying ‘Akpabio is coming to deal with the Ibibios’, what proof do you have? ‘Akpabio will only concentrate on his family’ How you can prove it?
The first thing a lawyer will do when making an accusation is research and find ways in which there could be proof of their client’s guilt or innocence
So if someone is spreading rumors about you and your work, then that’s a problem for them—not for you! And if they don’t listen when we explain how those rumors are false, then maybe we shouldn’t be using this powerful weapon so much in our arsenal.
The campaign Calumny is a tricky thing. It can be used as a powerful tool for good, or it can be used to destroy lives and reputations. If you’re new to the world of calumny, rest assured that you can use this skill in an ethical way
