There is a need for urgent unity for Senator Godswill Akpabio from Akwa Ibom Senators and the people of the state.
Unity is the most important principle of our lives. Yet achieving it is not just a matter of money and effort; our unity, like everything else that matters, is given to us by God. So to truly talk about unity is actually to talk about God Himself. And if this is true, then we need all the help that can possibly be given to us in order to achieve it.
Akwa Ibom will suffer a historical loss if Senators from Eket, and Uyo Senatorial Districts, and top government officials fail to rally around Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio to become the 10th Senate President.
Akwa Ibom Senators
For reasons that are unclear to most, but are speculations to me, there seems to be no general support for Senator Akpabio right now from senators-elect in Akwa Ibom state
If so, this is unfortunate because it’s obvious that Godswill Akpabio has done a lot of good things for the state without compromising his principles.
There are those who still want to stay under the self-ideology of some leaders who have nothing to offer when it comes to national politics
No doubt people will differ on why they vowed and voted against Godswill Akpabio during the elections. Still, in my opinion, this was due to the lack of vision and leadership of some state government officials.
Akwa Ibom needs people of all races and ethnic groups to be one for the sake of Akpabio. Let us unite in this time of the political game and ensure that the Senate Presidential seat is safeguarded for us.
The People of Akwa Ibom state and national assembly members should be tired of the infighting and divisions tearing the state and its people apart.

There is a dire need to be united as Akwa Ibom people no matter what dialect we talk to ensure that the former Senate Minority Leader and minister, Senator Godswill Akpabio, is elected as Senate President
The ability of Godswill Akpabio to connect with the sitting President will be of immense benefit to the people of Akwa Ibom, and there can be no better time for that than now.
An Akwa Ibom person deserves to be given its own due place as the number three citizen in Nigeria.
Our leaders should be cautioned about the need for unity to help Akpabio mount the exalted seat in the senate with the name of an Akwa Ibom person
Let’s not forget that Unity is an important virtue when it comes to achieving goals as a group.
Out of the 109 senators in the chamber, over 90 senators from a variety of parties have confirmed their support for Akpabio as of the most recent count. If senators from Akwa Ibom are not part of the 90, then, I smell a rat
The governors of Niger, Ekiti, Katsina, and of course Lagos have all publicly endorsed Akpabio. We know that Akwa Ibom is a PDP state but this is our brother and must be endorsed by the leadership of the state.
Let’s do the uncommon thing to achieve an unusual goal
