The African Men Entertainment Kings, AFRIMEK, have suspended well-known Nollywood Yoruba actor Shoneye Olamilekan, aka Show, for physically assaulting his understudy Temidayo Morakinyo.
This comes after the actress accused the actor on social media of physically assaulting her while they were filming.
Morakinyo detailed the actor’s Friday attack on her filming location in Ibadan, Oyo State, in a series of posts on her Instagram story.
She claimed in her pictures that Show punched her in the face and broke her lip after she complained to her superiors on Thursday about his disruptive behavior.
Morakinyo added that the assault left her in pain and that her family is demanding justice.

AFRIMEK responded by distancing itself from the actor and decrying his behavior in a letter that was signed by Femi Adebayo.
In the letter, Temidayo is informed that Olamilekan Shoneye, also known as Show, a member of our club, attacked you verbally, emotionally, and physically.
His actions do not reflect the image that our club has been known to project or that it represents.
While our disciplinary committee conducts additional investigations to elucidate all the details of the unfortunate incident, he has been immediately sanctioned and suspended indefinitely.
“We also want to apologize deeply to you.
Such treatment is not appropriate for anyone. We will split the cost of your medical care equally in order to get you well again.
We are making this gesture to express our collective remorse.
