An entrepreneurship summit that will cater to the needs and the development of youths in the state is being planned by the stakeholders in the ARISE agenda of the state governor, Pastor Umo Eno
Unveiling the plans to journalists in Uyo, the president of your chambers of Commerce, industry, mines, and Agriculture, UYOCCIMA, Dr. Affi Israel Ibanga said that the summit aims to encourage an entrepreneurial mindset that will create jobs and build a productive community.
Scheduled to take place on the 15th of July this year at Watbridge Hotel in Uyo, under the theme “Empowering Youths through Strategic Planning,” Dr. Affi Ibanga said that it is a collective synergy that will bring ideas to bear in line with the A.R.I.S.E agenda and deliver an Akwa Ibom State that everyone has been yearning for.
She announced that the upcoming event will bridge the gap between governance and the governed.
The focus areas of the summit according to her will encompass various aspects crucial for entrepreneurial success which will explore strategic planning, highlighting the importance of setting clear goals, identifying opportunities, and developing effective strategies to achieve business objectives.
The UYOCCIMA president said related topics such as financial management, digital marketing, and access to funding, providing participants with practical insights and actionable steps to enhance their entrepreneurial journey will be discussed at the summit.
