In a powerful word of message to women, the Wife of Ikot Ekpene Local Government Area Chairman, Mrs. Affiong Nkom, has charged women to be intentional about their spiritual growth, prioritize prayer, and focus on self-development.
Ikot Ekpene First Lady Encourages Women to Stay Grounded in Christ
She gave the charge today, Saturday 14th March during the Women’s Fellowship One-Day Conference and Reception Service of New Members, Women’s Work Department of Methodist Church Nigerian, Ikot Ekpene Diocese.
While encouraging them to be fully grounded in Christ, dedicated to their duties, and expect a reward for their service, Mrs Nkom stressed the need for personal development, advising the women to create time to study, to deepen their faith and enhance their personal growth.

Mrs. Nkom prayed for God’s strength to guide and enable them to move forward, applying the principles of intentionality and dedication in their daily lives.
Stay Grounded in Christ
Earlier, the Diocesan Women Fellowship President, Elder(Mrs.) Ekaette Etim, drew the Scripture from, Joshua 2:1-23 , delivered her study on the topic “The Woman God helped,” admonishing the women to conduct themselves in Godly manner, shun all form of pride but make boost in Christ Jesus. She urged the women to be diligent in their service to God and humanity, noting that, the reward of service is from God.
