Nigeria to enroll additional 5 million pupils for free school feeding

President Muhammadu Buhari has coordinated the enlistment of an extra 5,000,000 pupils into the free school feeding program-the National Home Grown School Feeding Program (NHGSFP).

The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Hajiya Sadiya Umar Faruq, unveiled this in Maiduguri during her series of true commitments in Borno State.

Hajiya Sadiya, during her commitment at Dipcharima Primary School in old GRA Maiduguri where she gave over taking care of utensils for students, said the enlistment figure in the grade schools the nation over has gone up to more than 9,000,000 understudies, aside from the extra 5,000,000.

Hajiya Sadiya likewise charged Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) focus built by her service at Federal Government College, Maiduguri.

The Minister noticed that the NHGSFP has added sway across the worth chain, as more than 100,000 cooks are being occupied with the program.
