The laws and principles of business do not have room for weaklings. In business, you make the rules or your enemies will make one for you to your detriment. Great ideas have failed because the visionary ones lost the nerves to stand up and face the enemies of their dream future. Mediocrity and the survival mentality have always fought against those who dare to dream.
Quite often the enemies of a growing business hardly see themselves as enemies, they rather choose to play the victims. Building a business is likened to swimming with the sharks, you either swim fast to safety or get eaten by nature and human obstacles.
Perusing through the supposed damaging allegations published by Sahara reporters portrays nothing short of the madness of not being able to destroy the Royalty brand decades ago by those who became sharks based on greed wanting more than what a growing business could offer.
Speaking from hindsight, though yet to authenticate the truth-ness behind the politically motivated concoction, it’s worthy of note to state with a reserved sense of knowing that some demons will hardly leave us alone just as these supposed aggrieved non existent antagonist of growth unwittingly lurk around to spew bad blood from a twisted history against a business that has survived their destructive antics years back.
It calls for pondering the allegation that a Court document had been tampered with. Putting on our thinking Caps one could ask,
“If a court document has been forged, why have they not approached the Court for redress instead of this failed Media guilty as charged antics?”

That this politically motivated media attack on the Royalty brand has decided to do the work of a competent Court proves the insincerity of the purveyors and should be ignored.
I am a growing business man and I know the damages that unionism can cause to upstarts. When a business is yet to find her footings towards barely breaking even, unionism should certainly not be allowed to show it’s force, every upcoming entrepreneur can attest to this.
It’s there foolhardy to judge a man based on decisions taken by his crawling business years back, rather such an individual should be applauded for the inner strength and strategy applied to survive in the midst of life threatening sharks of destructive unionism.
Someone hard rightly asked to ascertain the ties between a hospitality business with the Oil and Gas union? Little wonder the case was lost and thrown into the bin of forgetfulness.
Pastor Umo Eno could have imposed his Ecclesiastical personality on his business; Royalty brand by turning the other chick for the sharks to take a bite, but the over 500 staffs on his payroll today would never had happened. The over 500 hundred families feeding from the Royalty brand today with recurrent monthly take home of about #250,000,000 wouldn’t have been possible.
Royalty brand had to survive beyond the enemies of yesterday for the reality of today.
Pastor Umo Eno’s experience with the sharks yesteryears has better equipped him for today, his staff welfare surely compensates for the possible destruction attempt of the company by over entitled few.
Every growing business must fight off the sharks or gets eaten up.
As we are growing the new Akwa Ibom dream, it’s never out of place to find the sharks at it again. They will attack the roads constructed, the syringe factory, the Coconut Plantation, the King’s flourmill, Ibom Air etc. It’s our jobs as citizens who believe in the future these industries hold to fight them off, for the sake of our unborn generation. Obong Attah had to fight for the dear life of our State through off-shore on-shore dichotomy and today we can say thank you to him.
