Stakeholders and delegates of Etim Ekpo/Ika/ Abak Federal Constituency have unanimously accepted, endorsed, and adopted the Commissioner for Lands and Water Resources, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno as the Governor of Akwa Ibom State come 2023.
The event was a meeting of all stakeholders and delegates of the constituency held at the Independence Hall, Abak.
Speaking at the meeting, the state deputy governor, Mr. Moses Ekpo noted that he was ready to support a course that would promote and sustain the completion agenda of Governor Udom Emmanuel.
The deputy governor described pastor Umoh Enoh as a man of peace and humility who will work towards maintaining the already existing peace in the state.
He stressed that God is with the state and thanked governor Udom Emmanuel for believing in himself and handing over his fate to God by endorsing pastor Umoh Eno.
He described pastor Umoh Eno as a team player, efficient, business-oriented, and a man of God who ensures he delivers on any given mandate and was worth presenting to the world.
The National Chairman of Maintain Peace Movement, Barr. Emmanuel Enoidem said that the emergence of pastor Umo Eno has brought peace to the State, noting that no one had accused the commissioner of Lands and Water resources of either owing anyone as a businessman, mismanaging public funds, or dragging anything with anyone since his emergence as Governor Udom Emmanuel’s preferred aspirant for the Hilton mansion top job.
He charged the stakeholders and delegates of the federal constituency to support the path of peace in the state, adding that Pastor Umo Eno is a man blessed and chosen by God.
Moving a motion for the acceptance, endorsement, and adoption of pastor Umo Eno, the Member Representing Abak/Etim Ekpo/Ika Federal Constituency, Elder Aniekan Umanah advanced that Akwa Ibom leaders who are desirous of ensuring the successful anchorage of the completion agenda of Governor Udom Emmanuel, stood by the Governor to Unveil his preferred successor for the governor of the State come 2023 in the person of pastor Umo Eno.

Elder umanah noted that Pastor Umo Eno is accepted, adopted, and endorsed by the Stakeholders/Delegates of his federal constituency following his entrepreneurial prowess and track record of concrete and evidence-based personal achievements, particularly in the hospitality, oil, and gas industry as well as Property, Real Estate development within the Royalty Group and its subsidiaries which have provided employment for over 1,000 Akwa Ibom People in slightly over 2 decades.
He expressed that Pastor Umo Eno as a servant of God and as an epitome of humility, team player great family man, detailed and unassuming is the only option for the maintenance of peace already enjoyed in the State.
Elder Umanah Who’s motion was seconded by the Member Representing Etim Ekpo/Ika State Constituency, Mr. Mfon Idung, noted that Pastor Umo Eno’s fora into the public space as chairman of the state tourism board, Executive director of Agric investment in the Governor’s and commissioner for lands and water resources combine to produce quality, productive and measurable results for the people of Akwa Ibom State.
