God’s sure word of prophecy is true. He never fails to do what he promises.

You can absolutely trust his word. We all make promises, but none of us have ever kept 100% of the promises we’ve made in our lives. How wonderful that God has kept all the promises that He has made. People have forsaken God, but God has never forsaken people. God is full of righteousness and righteousness – he never lies and his Word of him never lies

2  Peter. 1: 19-21

And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit

  1. Prophecies are prophetic words which God speaks from His mouth

Isa. 34: 16 Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth, it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them

Matt. 5:17Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets, I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.

  1. Every prophetic word of God for His child is in the scriptures.

Isa. 29: 11-12  11 And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed:

12 And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.

  1. God’sprophetic agenda for the redeemed is contained in the scriptures
But to see prophetic words happen, we have to receive them, believe them and put them to work.
  2. Furthermore,we must continue to praisethe seed of the prophetic word in our good hearts for it to bear fruit

Act. 20:32- And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

John. 1:12- But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name

James 2:14-24-     14 t What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 u If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and vone of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” wShow me your faith without 6your works, and I will show you my faith by 7my works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 Do you see zthat faith was working together with his works, and by works, faith was made 9perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, bAbraham believed God, and it was 1accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God. 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.

sure words of prophecy

James says that saving faith is proven to those who observe our lives by what we do, not by what we say. If a man’s actions do not show a changed life for Jesus Christ, then his claim to be faithful to the Lord is dead.
6. Moreover, we must continue to water the seed of the prophetic word, our good hearts, with praise in order to bear fruit.

Pro. 12:14A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: and the recompense of a man’s hands shall be rendered unto him.

Hebrew. 13:15

By him, therefore, let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

“We therefore continually offer God, through Jesus, a sacrifice of praise, the fruit of lips that openly confess his name.”

  1. God makes us to reign as kings – Rev. 5:9-10- And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

1Peter. 2:9- But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.
