10 Psalm 34 verse 7

God has really said, “I know what I am doing because I intend to do it, and I will do it.”

All of God’s commands are designed to keep us from sin and in the process to help us grow and develop into the kinds of people that God wanted us to be.

Security from evil rod

  1. Psalm 125 verse 3 “For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.”

What is the meaning of the rod of the wicked?

The rod of the wicked is the rod of chastisement, suffering, oppression, manipulation, destruction, plagues, and incitement. These personnel are used to exercise authority, to inflict unfair treatment

No more afflictions

2, Nahum 1 verse 9   “What do ye imagine against the LORD? He will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.“

This shows that God would thus bring about a great redemption for his own people. But those who despise themselves with shameful sins, God will make vile through shameful punishments.

Declaration of new things

  1. Isaiah 42 verse 9 “Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them”

The phrase literally means, ‘before they begin to germinate,’ that is before there are any indications of life or growth in the plant. The sense is, that God will make them known to you…  Everything I prophesied has come true, and now I will prophesy again. I will tell you the future before it happens.”

Secure surveillance

  1. Psalm 121 verse 3 “He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.”

You move your feet when you want to move. God promises us that circumstances that cause us to act against our will, will not happen to us. Nothing will move our foot against our will. God will protect us.

Secure footsteps

  1. 1 Samuel 2 verse 9  “He will keep the feet of his saints, And the wicked shall be silent in darkness; For by strength shall no man prevail.”

He will guard the feet of his saints. Now follow the promises and prophecies of things to come concerning the Israel of God, whether literal or spiritual.

Unmovable security

  1. Psalm 125 verse 1 “They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed but abideth forever.

Therefore, Psalm 125:1 falls under the Ascension Psalms and through it the psalmist wants the believer to meditate on these four main themes. He says, “those who put their trust in the Lord.” For him, it is important that man, who is a creature of God, trust in the Lord in all things.

Security from evil

  1. Proverbs 12 verse 21   “There shall no evil happen to the just: but the wicked shall be filled with mischief.”

If people are sincerely righteous, the righteous God has promised that no harm will come to them. But those who love evil will have had enough.

Special security

  1. Psalm 31 verse 20 “You shall hide them in the secret place of Your presence. From the plots of man; You shall keep them secretly in a pavilion
    From the strife of tongues.”

Instead of giving in to impatience or despair over our problems, we should turn our thoughts to the goodness of the Lord to those who fear and trust in Him

  1. Psalm 31 verse 23 “O love the LORD, all ye his saints: for the LORD preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.”

The Proud Maker –  “The man who works proudly.” The allusion refers to the self-confident man; who seeks to grow, and who in doing so…

Special Security

  1. . Psalm 34 verse 7 “The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, And delivereth them”

That loving reverence makes the child of God humbly and carefully bow to his Father’s law. ”  But how often do we stop and acknowledge God’s power and majesty when we lightly ignore his wrath and his judgment for sin?
