As the automation processes have been introduced in various Ministries by the government, Governor Emmanuel urged the new permanent secretaries to key in for efficiency in the civil service.

The Governor prayed God to grant them the grace to deliver on the job even as he urged them to do well to work amicably with Commissioners in the Ministries they would be posted to serve.

He assured that government would continue to fill up vacant positions in the civil service but warned that those who failed the interview more than once would no longer be considered since, according to him, such persons lack the competence to serve in the capacity as permanent Secretary.

Our government house correspondent, Kufre Emmanuel reports that the ceremony featured the presentation of appointment letters to the new permanent secretaries and Auditor General by Governor Udom Emmanuel.
