The Youth, Senior Special Assistant to the Akwa Ibom State Governor and Chairman of the State Youth Caucus Mr. Aniefiok Wilson Iwaudofia, has led the State youth leadership to congratulate Pastor Uwem Andrew Essien, the General Accountant of the State for an excellent award on him as most distinguished Accountant General in Nigeria by the National Productivity Center, Abuja.
The youth leaders took this opportunity to appreciate the Accountant General for its philanthropic disposition, offer scholarships as part of its youth empowerment strategies to 120 young people and to support 50 young people with various vocational training programmes. According to the leaders of the youth, “the Accountant General’s commitment to respect, recognition, and transparency are testimony to such a respectable prize.”
Moreover, the prestigious award goes beyond confirming \ the impeccability and, by extension, transparency of the public servant in Gov. Udom Emmanuel’s government whose distinctive mark of leadership is based on responsibility and prudence.
In his reply, the AccountantGenera awarded God Almighty and his staff the well-earned prize, whose untiring commitment of work enabled him to receive recognition from the National Center of
Productivities, Abuja.
