Arch. Ezekiel Nyaetok does not need too much introduction in Akwa Ibom State; as he has been on the front burner of so many things in the State.
He has been able to carve a niche for himself both as a private and a public figure.
Regarding uniqueness, class, lifestyle and intellectual nourishment, Otuekong Nyaetok possesses all the above mentioned qualities in abundance.
He owes his impetus to his vast reservoir and repertoire of rich knowledge of the dynamics of his society.
Today, he has stepped up the plate as an advocate of Social Governance Ideology, a crusade he has vowed to champion with his resources, time and energy.
Recently, Arch. Nyaetok interacted with the media and delved into some issues which are believed would create far-reaching impacts on the socio-economic and political situations of our State; vis-à-vis Nigeria.
During the said parley, he mentioned his roles in the design and the establishment of the Shelter Afrique Housing Estate in Uyo; albeit, the said Shelter Afrique is bastardized, according to him; but, he feels fulfilled that the then Governor of the State, Arch. Obong Victor Attah, gave him the ample opportunity to contribute to the development of the State; by bringing his wealth of experience to bear.
Currently, Arch. Ezekiel Nyaetok is managing the National Housing Estate sited in Ikot Ntuen Nsit, in Nsit Ibom LGA, within the Uyo capital city territory of the State.
The Housing Estate, according to him, is a Public-Private Partnership enterprise; with over 40 units of 3 bedroom semi-detached apartments; which though they may be considered expensive, are displayed for people who desire comfort and security.

He enthused that the Estate is designed as a residential estate with sophisticated facilities; such as close circuit camera, constant water supply, good road network, within and around the Estate; and other necessary facilities; to spice up the ambience.
On the political situation in the State, Arch. Ezekiel Nyaetok copiously reeled out the roles of political leaders in the State; describing them as servants. He advised those saddled with the responsibility of managing the resources of the people; in the larger interest of the people, and, by extension, he stressed that their primary concern should be how they should use the said resources to positively affect the life of the people.
According to the renowned Architect: “A lot of people understand government as the management of the resources of the people; in the interest of the people. Thus, for them, what should motivate them should be how they can manage the resources of the people in a way that will affect the people positively”.
Hence, by this, the Press has some strategic roles to play in producing the next set of leaders in 2023.
The former Chieftain of the Young Democratic Party, at the media chat, disclosed his decision to belong to the African Democratic Congress , after terminating his two year partisanship with the YPP.
His decision to pitch tent with the ADC stems from the Party’s political ideologies; which are in consonance with the fundamental truth of social governance ideology; vowing never to join APC or PDP; describing them as parties that have failed miserably in providing good governance to the people who voted them into power.
He assured that the African Democratic Congress is one party that Nigerians should watch out for in 2023; as people would be scampering for spaces to belong to the ADC
