ARISE Ambassador Apostle Uwem Akpan Donates 10,000 Exercise Books to Schools in A’Ibom

In support of the Educational Advancement of Governor Umo Eno’s ARISE Agenda, Apostle (Dr.) Uwem Akpan who is the ARISE Ambassador for the Diaspora Communities, has donated Ten thousand customized Exercise Books, for free distribution among schools in the 10 federal constituencies of the state.

Handing over the exercise books to the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the A.R.I.S.E Ambassadors in Uyo, Dr. Akpan explained that the initiative was designed to help parents whose children are returning to school for the new academic year, and to support the free and compulsory education policy of the current government.

The Canadian-based Psycho-therapist and Lecturer expressed her gratitude to Governor Umo Eno for his government’s significant investments in education and other sectors.

Dr. Akpan praised the governor’s commitment to improving educational access and quality, as well as his efforts to enhance the standard of living for citizens through various social and economic programme in line with his ARISE Agenda.

Enumerating the positive impact of the State government’s initiatives on the lives of ordinary people, Apostle Uwem Akpan reaffirmed her commitment to supporting the Umo Eno-led administration in all aspects of the ARISE Agenda.

She called on everyone in the state to rally around the governor and work together to develop the state and improve the lives of its citizens.

The General Overseer of Uwem Ministries International, stressed that it is through unity and collective effort that the vision of a more prosperous and vibrant Akwa Ibom can be realized.

Receiving the exercise books, the Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, A.R.I.S.E Ambassadors, Hon. Quincy Ukpong, expressed his deep gratitude to Apostle Akpan for her generosity and selfless spirit.

Ukpong praised Dr. Akpan for her philanthropic efforts, including the donation of exercise books for students in the state. He stated that her contributions to the people of Akwa Ibom are a testament to her commitment to the well-being of the state and its citizens.

Hon. Quincy Ukpong further stated that the A.R.I.S.E Ambassadors remain committed to supporting, projecting, and defending the Eno-led administration. He emphasized that the group will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that the governor’s vision for a better Akwa Ibom is realized.

Present at the handing over ceremony was the Chairman B.O.T; Comrade Ernest Akpan, cross-section of the Executive Council as well as new members of the A.R.I.S.E Ambassadors, including Dr. Idorenyin Mfon.
