PDP Stakeholders in Nsit Ibom local government have met to brainstorm on common issues eight weeks after the remains of the late indigenous Military Administrator of Akwa Ibom State were interred his younger brother, Elder Amanam Nkanga hosted the stakeholders
The meeting which took place at the residence of the late political leader at Ikot Nya, afforded the party faithful opportunity to brainstorm on issues that would benefit the people.
The meeting of stakeholders of the PDP in Nsit Ibom hosted by the Special Adviser, Bureau of Political and Social Re-orientation, Elder Amanam Nkanga had in attendance the widow of the late Otuekong Idongesit Nkanga, Funmi as well as serving and former political officer holders from the area.

It had the full compliments of the party structure from the two state officers of the party from Nsit Ibom, to the chapter and ward executives, Aides to the Governor, Local Government Chairman and councilors as well as the women and youths.
Addressing the party faithful, Elder Amanam Nkanga said the family of the deceased Director General of the Divine Mandate Organization were appreciative of the contributions and involvement of the state government in the rites of passage of their leader.
He thanked Nsit Ibom people for their support to the family and appealed to them to remain committed to the ideals of the PDP and refuse to be cajoled into indulging in fetish practices and other acts that are not in line with the direction given by the leader of the party in the state, Governor Udom Emmanuel.
The PDP Chapter Chairman in Nsit Ibom Nsikak Ikpe, a State officer of the party, Uwem Etuk, Chairman of Nsit Ibom Mr. Eric Akpan, member representing Nsit Ibom in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly Mr. IfiokUdoh and others in their contributions said their commitment to the PDP was guaranteed.
The wife of the late Otuekong Idongesit Nkanga, Mrs. Funmi Nkanga thanked Nsit Ibom people for their support to the family and called for their support to Governor Udom Emmanuel’s completion agenda.
A minutes silence was observed in honour of the dead.
