Itam Timber Dealers Association has joined other individuals, groups, and organizations to congratulate the State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, his Deputy, Senator Akon Eyakenyi, President of the 10th Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, members of the National and State Assembly and Commissioners for their elections success and appointment respectively.
The Association prayed to God to grant them wisdom, grace, protection, and ability to deliver on their mandate.
In a goodwill message endorsed by the Association’s President, Mr. Ibanga Ibanga Iyah, and secretary, Akparawa Augustine Usanga on behalf of the members of Itam Timber Dealers Association, it particularly congratulates Pastor Umo Bassey Eno for his victory at the pool and subsequent inauguration as the State Chief Executive Officer.
The message described Pastor Eno as a vital and eminent leader whose noble spirit, humanitarian principles, and passionate commitment to the Akwa Ibom Project and ARISE agenda as veritable tools that will engineer effective and great growth in the State.
The Itam Timber Dealers Association helmsman opined that Gov. Eno’s ascension to the leadership of Akwa Ibom State is a genuine reflection of the undiluted love, support, and wide acceptability by the people which was demonstrated by the massive votes he amassed to defeat his opponents at the State Gubernatorial election.

In his words, “Your genuine passion, commitment, and determination to influence prosperity, development, progress, peace and security; as well as enthrone human and God-centric governance in Akwa Ibom State, has always been your fantasy; your enthusiasm, integrity, genial personality and magnanimous instinct and other sterling qualities also project you as a leader pointed to add values to the well being of the citizens in particular and Akwa Ibom State in general”. Mr. Ibanga Iyah said.
Mr. Ibanga Ibanga Iyah, used the medium to passionately appeal to Pastor Umo Bassey Eno to accommodate members of Itam Timber Dealers Association in his scheme of things by appointment, provision of loans, and other financial grants or assistance that will help it members expand their business scopes.
Mr. Iyah maintained that Timber Dealers are strategic and crucial partners and contributors to the social economic and political growth of the society.
Corroborating Mr. Ibanga Iyah’s glowing tributes to Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, one of the Advisers to Itam Timber Dealers Association, Elder Sunday Inyang described the Governor as a successful entrepreneur and serial achiever on several fronts, particularly in the hospitality industry; and of course, seasoned administrator and top-notch man manager whose wealth of experience will be brought to bear on the State. Elder Inyang believes that Pastor Eno will bring to office competence, conscience, performance, and understanding hearts in running the affairs of the State; therefore, the people should expect a prosperity and development explosion under his reign.
Meanwhile, Mr Ibanga Iyah has commended Pastor Umo Eno for his effort in developing the Government land located at the industrial layout, Mbak Itam 3, Itu Local Government Area, which has been left fallow for years. Mr. Iyah stressed that when the area is finally developed to it full potential Akwa Ibom State will turn into a mega business hub that will attract employment opportunities and revenue for the people
He, therefore, appealed to the Governor to use his good offices to fix electricity problems and existing roads in the area to help boost the business activities of Timber Dealers and others within the industrial layout.
