There is a certain breed of individuals who thrive on manipulation, coercion, and deceit – they are known as political blackmailers.
These shadowy figures operate in the dark, exploiting vulnerabilities and spreading lies to advance their own sinister agendas.
However, when confronted with the phenomenon of peace and genuine cooperation between two prominent political figures like Senator Godswill Akpabio and Governor Umo Eno, these political blackmailers find themselves unable to further their malicious schemes.
Blackmailers Fail to Disunite Umo Eno, Godswill Akpabio
Senator Godswill Akpabio, the President of the Senate, and Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State are two leaders renowned for their integrity, commitment to public service, and dedication to the welfare of the people of Akwa Ibom. Their partnership is marked by a shared vision for progress, development, and good governance, resulting in tangible improvements in the lives of their constituents.
Recently, a poorly written news report surfaced on social media, alleging that Governor Umo Eno had been giving a staggering sum of 1 billion Naira monthly to the Senate President. These claims are baseless and stem from the hearts of detractors. This misinformation has angered many in the state, with concerns that it could disrupt the unity and peace between Senator Akpabio and Governor Umo Eno. Their collaboration transcends party lines and is solely focused on the advancement of Akwa Ibom State, not personal gain.

Senator Akpabio, who is tirelessly working to ensure the presence of the federal government is felt in Akwa Ibom, has no need for financial assistance from the state government. He urges the Governor to utilize the state’s allocation for development and improving the standard of living for the people. The alleged monthly gift is merely a fabrication orchestrated by political opportunists who seek to undermine the harmony between these two leaders.
The alliance between Senator Akpabio and Governor Umo Eno is built on mutual respect and genuine cooperation, serving as a catalyst for development in a state that was once plagued by strife and discord. Any attempt to sow discord between them is futile, as their commitment to ethical governance and principled leadership prevails.
Moreover, insinuations linking His Excellency Mr. Udom Emmanuel to the purported suspension attempt of Senator Akpabio by his Ward APC executive have been dismissed as baseless. Mr. Udom Emmanuel is not a member of the APC, rendering any suggestions of his involvement unfounded and merely aimed at inciting political turmoil.
The dismay of political blackmailers in the face of the peaceful cooperation between Senator Akpabio, Governor Umo Eno, and Mr. Udom Emmanuel underscores the power of principled leadership and ethical governance. By prioritizing the interests of their constituents and fostering a partnership based on trust and collaboration, these leaders have effectively neutralized the malicious intentions of those who seek to exploit political divisions for personal gain.
