Train accident in Pakistan has killed 36  people and it has left many more others wounded

The official report says the two trains which collided in Sindh province derailed

Those injured in the accident have been taken to hospitals which reports say are in critical condition

Many strings of deadly accidents have taken place in Pakistan where over 150 people are said to have died between 2013 and 2019,

The accident has shocked the Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan who has ordered the injured to be treated immediately and that support should be given to the family of the dead

As of the time of this report, it was not too clear what caused the accident as many other people remain trapped under the train.

Our correspondent says hospitals in the area of the accident have been put on standby for casualties.

On Monday morning of June 7 when the train- Millat Express from Karachi went down the rail, falling on track of Sir Syed Express from Rawalpindi, collided and overturned

However, a relief train has been sent to evacuate the stranded passengers.
