On Thursday, the Nigeria Football Federation’s (NFF) Executive Committee approved the recommendation of its Technical and Development Sub Committee for Salisu Yusuf’s appointment as Head Coach of the Super Eagles B (CHAN team) and the U23 (Olympics) teams.
The NFF confirmed this in a blog post on its website.Yusuf will be aided by Kennedy Boboye, Fatai Osho, Fidelis Ikechukwu, and Abubakar Bala Mohammed, as well as goalkeepers’ trainers Ike Shorounmu and Suleiman Shuaibu, and Eboboritse Uwejamomere (Match Analyst).
Ladan Bosso’s additional responsibilities include his role as Head Coach of the U20 male team.
Coaches Fatai Amao, Oladuni Oyekale, Jolomi Attune Alli, and Baruwa Olatunji Abideen (Goalkeepers’ Trainer) will assist Bosso.
Nduka Ugbade was selected Head Coach of the Golden Eaglets for the U17 male team.
Ahmad Lawal Dankoli, Omoniyi Haruna Ilerika, Yemi Daniel, and Mohammed Nasiru Isah (Goalkeepers’ Trainer) will assist Ugbade.

Patrick Bassey will be the head coach for the U13/15 male squad, and he will be assisted by Abdullahi Tyabo Umar, Mohammed Kalli Kachalla, Ifeanyi Uba, and Mohammed Kwairanga, and Abubakar Abdullahi (goalkeepers’ trainer).
The NFF also stated that once the protocols for his engagement and contract signing are completed, a new Head Coach for the Super Eagles will be revealed and publicly unveiled.
This comes one week after the Nigeria Football Federation’s (NFF) Executive Committee directed the federation’s subcommittees to recommend a new coaching staff for the Super Eagles “within the next five days.”
