Brighton’s tenure with head coach Roberto de Zerbi is nearing its end, with his departure scheduled after the final Premier League showdown against Manchester United this Sunday. Chairman Tony Bloom disclosed that both the club and De Zerbi have reached a mutual agreement for the Italian’s exit.
De Zerbi, 44, embarked on his journey with the Seagulls back in September 2022, signing a four-year contract. His tenure saw Brighton soar to new heights, securing a remarkable sixth-place finish last season, marking their highest-ever top-flight placement and earning European qualification for the first time in the club’s history.
