Governor Emmanuel is seeking collaboration among leaders in the Niger Delta for speedy development in the Region.
Governor Emmanuel made the advocacy while addressing members of Bayelsa State Executive Council who were rounding off a three days retreat in Akwa Ibom State.
The retreat held at Ibom Icon Hotel and Golf Resort, Governor Emmanuel stressed that such collaboration among the states would make room for sharing of ideas on development strategies.
He lamented the lack of appreciable federal presence in the state, adding that most of the achievements recorded by the present administration especially in industrialisation and the aviation sector, was as a result of the initiative of his administration.

The governor said such brainstorming session was necessary as it will provide the platform for the hatching of creative ideas that would aid government actualize its goals.
Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Duoye Diri, said he supported the Clarion call for collaboration among leaders in the region, noting that with such unity, they would come up with possible solutions challenges facing the people.
Senator Diri expressed appreciation to Governor Emmanuel for the hospitality showered on him and his cabinet members through the duration of the three days retreat.
