A new investigation in French Church abuse says 216,000 kids – generally young men – have been physically manhandled by clergy in the French Catholic Church since 1950

The request was dispatched by the French Catholic Church, and spent more than two years going through court, police, and Church records and addressing casualties and witnesses.
“These figures are more than stressing, they are cursing, and not the slightest bit can stay without a reaction,” the top of the request, Jean-Marc Sauvé, told journalists.
The report, which is almost 2,500 pages since quite a while ago, said “by far most” of victims were young men, a significant number of them matured somewhere in the range of 10 and 13.
