Kennedy Boboye, Akwa United head coach, says he is worried over the position of Akwa United FC on the football log.
Boboye who spoke with sports correspondent after the team’s training at the nest of Champions Uyo says frantic efforts are on for the team to occupy a comfortable portion in the league in order to play on the continent this season.
Akwa United sitting on the 15th place on the log with six points, played six matches, win one, draw three, lose two with five goals for and six goals against are hosting their arch rivals, Kano Pillars in Uyo this weekend.

The Uyo based football club will be away next week to face Adamawa United.
Coach Boboye said he is sure to win both matches as the players are on top of the club situation.
After being allegedly robbed of their match against Heartland of Owerri, the players of Akwa untied were seen with a high spirit at training in preparation for the encounter.
