The Premier League has postponed Liverpool’s match against Leeds United as well as Wolves’ match against Watford due to coronavirus.

Both games were scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. GMT on Sunday, December 26th, but have been canceled due to requests from Leeds and Watford.

Leeds were unable to play “due to the number of players with Covid-19, injuries, and illness,” according to the Premier League.

The club’s practice facility has also been closed.

Watford’s games against Burnley, Crystal Palace, and Wolves have all been postponed due to a Covid-19 outbreak.

“Watford continue to have an insufficient number of players to field a team after their game against Crystal Palace last Saturday was postponed due to a Covid-19 outbreak,” the Premier League said in a statement.

Watford are expected to be available for their match against West Ham United on Tuesday, December 28th, as a result of players coming out of isolation.”
