The Akwa Ibom State Government says it will soon roll out plans to recreate the middle class, encourage creativity, and reposition Akwa Ibom as an Entrepreneurial state.
Governor Umo Eno revealed this at the Tropicana Entertainment Center, when the State-owned airline, Ibom Air, hosted a Drive-in Cinema to mark four years of steady operations in the aviation industry.
Inspired by a young Artiste at the event, who painted a portrait of him in less than two minutes, Governor Umo Eno said the ARISE AGENDA of his administration captures plans that will assist young talents and entrepreneurs, equip them with initial seed money and business space to break forth and become successful entrepreneurs.
On the Fourth Anniversary of Ibom Air, Pastor Umo Eno applauded the management of the airline for its commitment to interpreting the vision and ensuring uninterrupted operations in the past four years despite challenges.

He paid glowing tributes to the immediate past governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel who conceived the idea of Ibom Air and followed through, thereby demonstrating the true Dakkada spirit.
The Governor also gave kudos to the regulatory body, the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA for maintaining professionalism regarding the operations of Ibom Air as a sub-national and assured of the necessary support towards plans by Ibom Air to commence regional flights to West and Central Africa by next month.
At the event, the Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, and the First Lady, Mrs Patience Umo Eno as well as the Deputy Governor, Senator Akon Eyakenyi bagged Honourary Top Flyer Awards under the Frequent Flyers Program of Ibom Air.
The immediate past governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, and his wife Martha were also honored with Recognition Awards for the initiative which birthed the Airline four years ago.
