Following their capture by security personnel in Nigeria, Boko Haram terrorists will now be identified by Nigeria.
This statement was made by Garba Shehu, the senior special assistant to the president for media and publicity, while he was a guest on a television program.
If specifics about the amounts of money sent to the terrorists were fully made public, according to Shehu, it would shock people.
The service chiefs were given the go-ahead by President Buhari to expel Boko Haram and its financial backers from Nigeria.

Some Bureau de Change operators with contacts abroad, he claimed, are among the sponsors.
Shehu stated that the Federal Government is already cooperating with the UAE and that Nigerians who are sending money to Boko Haram terrorists have been convicted, adding that this also takes place domestically.
He claims that places of worship are used as hiding places for people who murder security agents and that the heads of the intelligence community are looking into this.
