37th A’Ibom Anniversary: Nka Ndito Ibibio Worldwide Identifies with Indigenes, Pst Umo Eno

Nka Ndito Ibibio (NNI) Worldwide, a distinguished Pan-Ibibio socio-cultural and intellectual organization, has released a detailed goodwill message to the government and people of Akwa Ibom State, celebrating the 37th anniversary of the state’s creation.

The organization, which serves as a unifying body for patriotic Ibibio sons and daughters both in Nigeria and in the diaspora, expressed their deep admiration and support for the state under the leadership of the Executive Governor, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno.

In a formal statement delivered by the international president of NNI Worldwide, Elder Mfon Ekong, the group commended the leadership of Governor Umo Bassey Eno, acknowledging his administration as divinely directed. They emphasized that under his stewardship, Akwa Ibom has witnessed notable progress, both in governance and in the overall well-being of its people.

The organization views the governor’s leadership as being in alignment with the state’s pursuit of greatness, guided by the hand of Almighty God.

Elder Mfon Ekong noted that the celebrations of the state’s 37th anniversary were filled with joy and jubilation, as the people of Akwa Ibom came together to recognize the peace, stability, and prosperity the state enjoys.

He described the scene as one filled with merriment, where “the drums and tumbrels yielded their sounds to jubilation,” and citizens were “gay, jolly, and jocund” in their celebration.

The group affirmed that the successes and accomplishments recorded thus far are well deserved, given the resilience and collective effort of both the government and the people of Akwa Ibom State.

The message further reflected on Akwa Ibom’s journey to greatness, with Elder Ekong stressing that the state has long been recognized for its remarkable achievements. Over the years, the people of Akwa Ibom have demonstrated a spirit of resilience, creativity, and excellence, which has elevated the state’s standing not only within Nigeria but also globally.
