A female undergraduate is currently in the Police net in connection with the sudden death of a businessman whom she allegedly lodged in a hotel in Uyo.
Reports say both lovers had visited a bar to drink during the day before retiring to the hotel for the night.
It is gathered that the staff of the hotel were alerted to the incident at about 7 am when the suspect, on noticing that her partner was no more breathing, raised an alarm.

An eyewitness account says the man believed to be in his sixties was rushed to a hospital where he was confirmed dead.
According to reports, the driver of the deceased was said to have arrived with him from Abuja on a fateful day, also lodged in a separate room of the hotel.
It is learned that the deceased owned the hotel and had been in a relationship with the suspect for the past three years.
