Ifeoma Onumonu and Rasheedat Ajibade led the Super Falcons to a 2-2 tie with the hosts and reigning Olympic women’s football champions, Canada, in their second friendly on Tuesday morning.
The duo filled in for Asisat Oshoala when the Super Falcons faced the world’s sixth-ranked country in a match played at Langford’s Starlight Stadium.
The Nigerian team was defeated 0-2 by Canada in the first friendly on Friday in Vancouver, and they were hoping for a stronger performance in the second match.
