Governor Udom Emmanuel has dispelled rumours making the rounds in social media, alleging his resignation as Chairman of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council.
Addressing the party faithful today at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, the venue of the flag-off of the PDP Governorship Campaign in Uyo, Governor Emmanuel cleared the air, saying he has no intention to resign as Chairman of the Atiku/Okowa presidential campaign council.
The governor reaffirmed his loyalty and commitment to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and called for the support of all for collective victory at the polls.
Governor Emmanuel canvased votes for the governorship Candidate, Pastor Umo Eno, and all PDP candidates from the senatorial to the House of Assembly, for continuity of peace, progress, and good governance.

He commended The Arise Agenda of Pastor Umo Eno, saying with his lofty development package, Akwa Ibom will be in for another season of prosperity if Umo Eno is voted in as Governor in next year’s general election.
The high point of the flag off of the PDP Governorship Campaign was the presentation of the flag to the governorship hopeful, pastor Umo Eno.
The rally brought together PDP stakeholders and supporters from the 31 local government areas and featured a worship session by popular gospel minister, Mercy Chinwo, Aity Denis, and a musical presentation by another renowned artiste, Harry-Song.
