The Chairman of Itu Local Government Council Barr. Etetim Onuk has hailed members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Itu Local Government Area, particularly his own ward over the orderly conduct of the just concluded election of ad hoc delegates for the forthcoming party primaries.
Onuk who described the exercise as “orderly and peaceful” said the strict adherence to democratic process and the people’s resolution led to the success of the exercise in Itu Local Government Area.

The Itu Council helmsman who spoke to newsmen who monitored the exercise at his ward – East ltam 4, Ward 6 at Primary School, Nkim Itam also poured encomium on Stakeholders from the ward whom he said adequately enlightened party faithful in their respective wards, on the need to hold orderly and violence free electoral processes as spelt out by electoral law and the party constitution. He said they have successfully elected the stipulated three ad-hoc delegates.
