Pastor Umo Eno, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for governor of Akwa Ibom State in 2023, has praised the continuing medical outreach in Nsit Ubium Local Government Area that is focused on SDG 3: “Ensuring healthy lives and fostering well-being for people at all ages.”

Isaiah’s Hope Medical Outreach is organizing the medical outreach, which is being supported by Pastor Umo Eno and powered by NIGCOMSAT and One2One.

Speaking at the exercise’s location, Cottage Hospital in Ikot Ekpene Udo, Pastor Eno emphasized the significance of good health for a functioning society and reiterated the idea that health is one of a person’s greatest assets.

The governorship candidate stressed that government efforts should be matched by private efforts, as is the case with Isaiah’s Hope Medical Outreach and partners, in order to achieve the SDG 3’s goals of ensuring healthy lives and fostering wellbeing for all at all ages.

In order to accomplish SDG 3, he claimed that the Governor Udom Emmanuel-led administration has made significant expenditures in the health sector, which should be promoted, supported, and maintained.

Pastor Eno praised Dr. Ubong Isaiah Udonyen, a son of Nsit Ubium, for bringing the service to his hometown. He also urged the locals to support and pray for their children so that they might bring good things back to their communities.

For the record, Dr. Ubong Udonyen is the son of the late Ambassador Isaiah Jackson Udonyen, a former representative of Nigeria in Southern African nations Eswatini, Mozambique, and Mauritius.
