Security situation in Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District which has led to the loss of lives and property.is seriously worrying Stakeholders of Peoples Democratic Party
The people made their position known during a meeting convened at the instance of the State Deputy Governor, Mr. Moses Ekpo at government House, Uyo.
The stakeholders frowned at the situation and called on the security agencies in the State to be proactive.
While also condemning the criminal conspiracy that lured the late Miss Iniubong Umoren to death, the stakeholders called on security agencies to ensure that justice is served.

Speaking unbehalf of the stakeholders, the PDP National Legal Adviser, Barrister Emmanuel Enoidem, said they were satisfied with the leadership style of the state governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel by turning the state from a civil service state to an industrial hub and therefore passed a vote of confidence on him.
The stakeholders commiserated with the family of former Chairman of the party, late Obong Udo Ekpenyong and urged the family members to be consoled by the fact that he lived a fulfilled life.
