Ralf Rangnick, the manager of Manchester United, has revealed that Paul Pogba will leave the club in the summer.
After limping off due to a calf injury, the France midfielder’s game against Liverpool in midweek will be his final appearance for the Red Devils.
His contract expires this summer, and Rangnick believes there is no possibility the Frenchman will be re-signed because the next manager may not require his skills at Old Trafford.
“As it appears right now, he will not renew his contract,” the German coach told the press ahead of Manchester United’s match against Arsenal at the Emirates on Saturday. “I don’t know, maybe the club or (incoming boss) Erik (Ten Hag) will also not want to prolong the contract.”
“I’m not sure.”
