Former Crystal Palace owner Simon Jordan has blamed former England U21 coach Stuart Pearce for the switch of allegiance of former Chelsea player Victor Moses to the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Moses, a Nigerian, was named top scorer in the 2007 U17 EURO with three goals and also scored three goals at the 2007 FIFA U17 World Cup, which Nigeria won.
Before committing his international future to Nigeria in 2011, the winger gained caps for the Young Lions at the Under 16, Under 19, and Under 21 levels.
.Moses was an integral part of the Super Eagles’ 2013 Africa Cup of Nations victory, and he went on to represent the West African powerhouse in the 2014 and 2018 World Cups.
Pearce, he argues, did not go far enough to keep Moses.
