Emma Raducanu has ended her five-month relationship with coach Torben Beltz.
In November, the 19-year-old US Open winner confirmed Beltz as her coach, although she believes a “different training model” is required.
Iain Bates, the LTA’s head of women’s coaching, will work with Raducanu this week in Madrid.
“I want to express my gratitude to Torben for his guidance, professionalism, and dedication over the previous six months,” world number 11 remarked.
“I believe the greatest approach for my development is to shift to a new training paradigm with the LTA assisting me in the interim,” she says.
Former world number one Angelique Kerber was coached by German Beltz, 45, when she won the Australian Open and the US Open in 2016.
Raducanu, the British number one, will have his fourth coach in a year as his successor.
After last year’s Wimbledon, Nigel Sears was replaced by Andrew Richardson, although despite Raducanu’s success in New York, Richardson’s contract was not renewed.
Raducanu spent a few days earlier this month at Riccardo Piatti’s academy in Liguria, practicing for the clay-court season.

Raducanu has won three of her first five professional clay matches, including one for Great Britain in a Billie Jean King Cup qualifier in Prague and two in Stuttgart last week on her way to the quarterfinals.
At a career-high ranking, she will compete in the Madrid Open, which begins on Thursday.
